Extreme Passion

Ambassador of the brand, BMX racer Sebastian Aslaksrud uses his Kia Soul to the fullest.

With bikes either in, on or around it, Sebastian’s Kia Soul is a warrior. It is a workshop on wheels and his lifeline to the track. Our goal was to tell that story, to show the Soul and Sebastian in equal importance with both convenience, the environment and performance in mind. All the while, we aimed to visually tie Sebastian to the brand rendering them inseparable to the viewer.

Design Language

Clean – Simple – Natural

From the lighting to the colors and the storytelling, nothing is overdone. The imagery feels airy, clean and natural to add a Scandinavian take to Kia’s branding. Photos include a lot of sky and negative space to give the story a chance to breath and Kia a chance to include text in print and digital advertisements. Car is always kept pointed right, toward adventure, not home.
